The explosive was planted at a secondary school, Trinity College, of the state capital, said the military Special Taskforce on Jos crisis (STF).

The spokesperson of the STF, Ikedichi Iweha, a Captain in the Nigeria Army, said no casualties were recorded in the incident.
“Security agents got the information through a vigilant Nigerian who spotted the device and alert them. I want to use this avenue to appeal to all citizens to be watchful of things around them and report promptly to security agent.”
