More Islamic Universities Should Be Established In Nigeria

The former Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Hussein Oloyede, has said more Islamic Universities should be established in Nigeria by Muslim communities in the country.
Professor noted this during the opening 1436 Conference of the Companion in llorin, Oloyede.

Oloyede noted that separately from the Fountain University that was established by NASnasfatFAT, some 20 years ago, there had not been any real efforts by Islamic societies to establish new ones.
We have serious challenges of Islamic University, we are yet to see the result,” he said but approved that some individual Muslims have organized their own private universities.
The former Vice Chancellor said that the death of those individuals might be the end of those universities.

Oloyede engaged the Companion and other Islamic societies in Nigeria to come together and establish at least two Islamic universities that everybody will be proud of to send their children and wards.
Fountain University is one of the top private universities in Nigeria with a ranking of 72 out of all the Nigerian universities. It was founded by the Nasrul-Lahi-ll-Fatih Society of Nigeria. NASFAT is an Islamic organization in Nigeria.The Muslim University presently offers only undergraduate degrees to prospective students.
