The group flayed Oba Akiolu’s comments as unbecoming in a democratic setting where people should be allowed to vote according to their free will.
According to Premium Times, it queried why other ethnic groups living in Lagos who vote for Jimi Agbaje will go scot-free while the Igbos who vote for Agbaje will drown in the Lagoon?
The group also called on the Oba to withdraw his curse and appeal to the people to vote for APC in the coming election rather than invoking ancestral powers for destruction.
Founder of Believers Love World Ministry aka Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has finally spoken on the divorce suit filed against him by his wife after days of silence on the issue.
Pastor Chris Explains His Messy Divorce
According to the Daily Post, Oyakhilome described the allegations levelled against him as “crazy” and “stupid” and urged his church members to pray for his estranged wife while speaking on Sunday evening during the monthly global communion service of the church.
Oyakhilome, who appeared visibly disturbed during his first few minutes on stage, acknowledged that divorce is un-Biblical but suggested he could consider the option should his wife insist on it.
“I heard that some media houses– especially in Nigeria, are writing some things against me. All sorts of frivolous charges, that’s crazy.
“You have to understand something about a man of God. A man of God is not just someone who worships God or preaches God. A man of God is handpicked by God, set on course by God. If you study the scriptures, you will not find one man of God go against God, sinning against God.
“The only thing you might find will be a man of God, maybe in two different kinds of ways. Moses, for example, when he struck the rock twice, he was provoked by the anger of the people. It was not because he wanted to do something against the Lord. No man of God does something against the Lord.
“Are you hearing me? A man of God is set on a course; there is a type of life that he is given. Then you have a young man, a young prophet; he wasn’t named; he was deceived by another man of God and so he went in a direction that God said ‘don’t go’.

Hayley Okines

On Thursday, April 2, it was announced that 17-year-old progeria victim Hayley Okines had passed away in East Sussex, England.
The condition called; Hutchinson Gilford Progeria Syndrome, also known as HGPS or Progeria, causes children with it age up to 10 times faster than normal.
Hayley's mother, Kerry Okines, posted the news on Facebook: "My baby girl has gone somewhere better. She took her last breath in my arms at 9.39 pm."
Hayley - who BBC News say had the "body of a 104-year-old" - was being treated in the hospital for pneumonia, but she returned home shortly before she died. "She came home for an hour and she saw her puppies, little brother Louie and her sister Ruby," Hayley's father, Mark Okines, told BBC News on Friday, April 3.

Cristiano Ronaldo
scored five goals
in one match for
the first time in
his career as Real
Madrid hammered Granada 9-1
on Sunday.
Ronaldo has scored four goals in
a single game three times since
joining the Blancos from
Manchester United in 2009, most
recently in September last year,
but never before in the three-
time Ballon d'Or winner's career
has he bagged five efforts in 90
minutes.
His five-star performance against
Granada, who are four points off
the bottom of La Liga, leaves him
level with Barcelona rival Lionel
Messi in terms of hat-tricks in the
Spanish top flight.
Ronaldo almost doubled his tally
for goals in 2015 in La Liga (he
now has 11 for the calendar year
and 36 for the season in the
Primera Division) and now sits
eighth on the all-time list having
overtaken former Real Madrid
striker Pahino this weekend.
The 30-year-old will be delighted
that he has scored four goals in a
single game more than twice in a
season for the first time in his
professional career, while
toppling his own record for his
fastest hat-trick.

Cristiano Ronaldo
well and truly
stole the show in
Real Madrid's
9-1 win over
Granada on Sunday with an
eight-minute hat-trick as part of
a five-goal masterclass.
The Portuguese superstar is
running out of achievements to
notch up in Spain, but he netted
his fastest treble in a Real shirt,
and his first since
December, within 38 minutes of
a wonderfully clinical display.
Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema,
twice, were also on target for
Carlo Ancelotti's side in Madrid,
while Diego Mainz put through
his own net to compound
Granada's misery late on.
Bizarrely given such an emphatic
scoreline, Real were far from
their fluent best early on.
However, from the moment
they led after 25 minutes
when Bale's recent upturn in
form continued with a well-taken
opener under pressure, they
never looked back.
Having coolly rounded
goalkeeper Oier, Bale registered
his fifth goal in four outings for
club and country to set the ball
rolling, before Ronaldo took
centre stage and almost single-
handedly put Granada to the
sword.
The returning James Rodriguez
supplied his first before the
Ballon d'Or holder made the most
of two Oier errors to register his
24th, and quickest, Liga hat-trick.
The onslaught continued in the
second half as Ronaldo scored
his fourth in between Benzema's
brace, with Roberto Ibanez's late
consolation the only
disappointment for the hosts.
Mainz then turned Luka Modric's
cross into his own net to
present Real with another gift,
before Ronaldo - fittingly - had
the final say to move Real to
within a point of Barcelona, who
play Celta Vigo later on Sunday.
In their first outing since the
international break, Real
dominated possession early on
but were hampered by loose
passes and offside calls.
After Ruben Rochina and Ibanez
had both gone close for the
struggling visitors, the home fans
made their frustrations clear as
Granada began to grow in
confidence.
But the whistles were silenced
when Bale latched onto Toni
Kroos’ pass and outmuscled
Mainz before rounding the
goalkeeper, doing well to keep
the ball in play before tucking it
into an open net.
The lead was doubled before the
half-hour mark, as Granada's
early solidity crumbled -
Rodriguez cleverly turning a
sloppy clearance into an assist
for Ronaldo's 32nd league goal
of the season.
With Real in full swing, Oier could
only parry a fierce Marcelo cross
into Ronaldo's path for his
second with the visiting
goalkeeper also at fault for Real's
fourth.

Oier could only help Ronaldo's
long-range strike on its way as
the Portuguese completed his
quickfire hat-trick to take the
game well and truly beyond
Granada.
Youssef El-Arabi did rattle the
crossbar on a rare foray forward
prior to half-time, but it was a
rare moment of relief for the
visitors as Benzema and Ronaldo
continued to expose them after
the break.
Showing expert control on his
chest, Benzema turned and fired
home on the half-volley after 52
minutes to ensure each of Real's
frontline a place on the
scoresheet, before the
Frenchman then turned provider
for Ronaldo's fourth.
Benzema took Real's tally to
seven himself with Ancelotti
subsequently able to
withdraw Rodriguez, having
made his first appearance since
February following a broken
metatarsal.
Ibanez finished a quick break for
the visitors to ensure a
consolation but normal order
was restored when Mainz's
own goal took Real's tally against
Granada to 12 this term.
There was still time, though,
for Ronaldo to round off a
supreme performance in style as
he netted his fifth a minute from
time, rising highest to head
home Modric's free-kick from the
right.
Brazil legend
Ronaldo claims he
would splash his
own cash to
bring Lionel Messi
from Barcelona to Fort
Lauderdale Strikers.
Messi has lit up La Liga for over
decade and, since the turn of the
calendar year, has been in
fantastic form for Luis Enrique's
side as the Catalans have
returned to the summit in the
Spanish championship.
Ronaldo, who played for
Barcelona and Real Madrid in his
prime, recently became part-
owner of second-tier US side Fort
Lauderdale and revealed his
ambition to lure Messi away from
Camp Nou using his own money.
"I'd pay out of my own pocket to
sign Messi," he told reporters at
an event to launch the North
American Soccer League (NASL)
season, which the FL Strikers will
take part in.
Messi is not the only global
superstar on Ronaldo's wishlist,
with the World Cup-winner also
hoping his new club can
someday convince his namesake
Cristiano Ronaldo that the Florida
club are worth leaving Real
Madrid for.
"The sky is the limit for Strikers.
This club will become great," he
added. "Why not Messi? Why not
Cristiano Ronaldo? In a few
years' time we will be able to
make it happen.
"Nothing is impossible. The US is
the second-fastest growing
country in the world in terms of
football, after China. A lot of
famous players will want to come
and play in South Florida because
of the quality of life. Who
wouldn't want to live here?"
New Real Madrid
signing Danilo is
the fourth most
expensive full-
back in history
following the blockbuster deal
struck with Porto.
The Brazil international sealed a
€31.5 million move to the
Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday
and will join his new club when
the transfer window re-opens in
the summer.
That figure is the fourth highest
ever paid for a full-back, with
Manchester United's Luke Shaw
still the most expensive player
ever in his role.
The Englishman moved to Old
Trafford from Southampton this
summer for €37.5m, but has
failed to live up to his price-tag
so far and has struggled for form
and fitness.
France legend Lilian Thuram is
second after Juventus used the
money they recouped from
Zinedine Zidane's 2001 world
record transfer to Real Madrid to
buy the Parma defender for
€36m. He spent five years in
Turin and won four on-field
Scudetti. He later joined
Barcelona.
In third place is current Barca
star Dani Alves, who Danilo had
been described as a successor to.
The Blaugrana splashed out a
whopping €35.5m for the Sevilla
wing-back in 2008 but he has
been worth every penny,
winning four league titles and
two Champions Leagues.
Rounding off the top five is
another Madrid man, Fabio
Coentrao. Madrid paid Benfica
€30m for the Portuguese left
back in 2011 but he has had a
mixed spell in Spain so far and
has often played second fiddle to
Marcelo.
Danilo was voted as only the
fifth-best right-back in the world
in a poll by Goal readers - one
place behind future Madrid team-
mate and direct first-team
competitor Dani Carvajal.
Bayern Munich captain Philipp
Lahm came top of our poll with a
whopping 43.85 per cent of the
votes, with Chelsea's Branislav
Ivanovic a distant second.
He would easily pass as one of
the most controversial artistes in
Nigeria.
Benue state born artiste, Terry G,
is very controversial and doesn't
hid it. Luckily, it hasn't effected
his career, instead it boosted it.
Perceived to indulge in hard
substance, Terry G admitted it
was actually an actress that
introduced him to the use of
hard drugs.
Though he didn’t mention the
name of the actress, but the
proud baby father said it was
never really his intention to get
into drugs.
“People actually see me as a very
bad guy, so it does not surprise
me when I go to certain places
and they offer me some things
because they think I already
indulge in them. It was a
gathering of celebrities and they
say when you are in Rome act
like a Roman. I was offered and I
did not want to be seen as the
odd one out, so I indulged in it
with them,” he said.
Talking about the substance,
Terry G said it was cocaine but
he found out that it didn’t
“work” for him even after he
used it, so he decided to quit.
“I am the first born of my family
and I felt it would not be good to
continue with such. Also, God has
blessed me with enough energy.
My fans know me to be very
energetic and I believe that
anything that could slow me
down can kill me. I spoke to
myself because the substance
normally slowed me down and I
decided to stop it. While I
indulged in it, nobody knew
because I know how to control
myself,” he said.
Terry G could remember how he
quit as he said, “I cut off all
relationships that I had with that
set of people. We stopped
communicating. I have never
bought it before in my life, so it
was easy to stop once I cut those
people off.”
South Africa
secured a
dramatic draw
with Nigeria with
Bongani Zungu
scoring with practically the last
kick of the game to seal a 1-1
result.
South Africa had a gilt-edged
chance to go into the lead
midway through the second half
from the penalty spot but Super
Eagles shot-stopper Daniel Akpeyi
tipped Andile Jali's penalty on to
the upright.
Ahemd Musa must have thought
he had made the hosts pay for
their missed opportunity by
cutting in from the inside and
curling an effort into the top
corner late in the friendly.
But South Africa ploughed
forwards in the final few minutes
and were rewarded for their
endeavour when Zungu pounced
on a late ball inside the box to
deny Nigeria their Africa Cup of
Nations qualification revenge
The Joseph König secondary
school is in Haltern am See, north
of Dusseldorf.
Returning from a week-long
exchange trip, 16 Joseph König
teenagers and two teachers
were on the Germanwings flight
which never arrived from
Barcelona.
The school has been surrounded
by police urging media to respect
students’ general reluctance to
speak out on camera.
The loss to the city of some
38,000 people drew reactions of
disbelief as well as despair.
We spoke to people in the centre
of town.
One man said: “I met somebody
today who said he had a
business meeting today and said,
‘I can’t cancel that, I have to
attend, because life goes on.’ And
that’s exactly what we need to
do! It is very sad, but what can
you do?”
A woman told us: “My three
brothers all go to that school. I
had to call them three or four
times, to make sure they were
home — it’s unbelievable!
Everybody always says flying is
the safest form of transport, and
then something like this
happens! It’s just unbelievable.
My brothers look totally down.”
A couple said: “There just aren’t
the words to say how everyone
is concerned, it’s just
unthinkable.”
A younger woman said:
“Everybody knows everybody
here, and even if you didn’t know
the victims personally, you’ve
seen them sometimes at school. I
imagine it’s unbelievably difficult
for the relatives, but I’m happy
the town is sticking together.”
Flags are at half-mast and
churches have stayed open.
The students — in the 10th
grade — were aged 15 and 16.
They drew lots to see who could
go on the trip to Llinars del Valles
near Barcelona.
Media cited the Joseph König
principal as saying the tragedy
made people speechless. Classes
and exams have been cancelled.
Our correspondent Olaf Bruns
summed up: “There is an
impressive silence here at the
school, a need to reflect, gather
together and mourn. Younger
pupils, too, are standing in silent
tribute at the school, where
candles have been placed. One of
them who didn’t want to appear
on camera told me he can’t cry
because he still can’t believe
what happened.”
Thousands of Singaporeans and
world leaders have lined the
streets to pay their respects to
the country's founding prime
minister.
Lee Kuan Yew, who served as
prime minister for 31 years, died
on Monday at the age of 91. He
had been suffering from
pneumonia.
After almost a week of national
mourning, Mr Lee's coffin was
taken from Parliament House to
the National University of
Singapore for a state funeral.
Over a million people have paid
their respects, officials say
Officials said more than a million
people have already paid their
respects to the former leader by
visiting tribute sites at
community centres across the
island.
"It has been a deeply moving
experience," Prime Minister Lee
Hsien Loong, Mr Lee's son, said in
a Facebook post thanking the
public.

The expansive show of emotion
is a rare event for Singapore.
Singapore is known around the
world as a wealthy Asian trade
and financial centre with a strict
social order including a ban on
chewing gum and caning for
some crimes.
Mr Lee ruled with an iron grip
until 1990 and is regarded by
Singaporeans as the architect of
the island's prosperity.
But his authoritarian rule has
also left a legacy of restrictions
on free speech, a tame media
and a stunted democracy.
Leaders and dignitaries from
more than two dozen countries
attended the state funeral.
Highlights of the procession
included a 21-gun salute by four
howitzers and a flyover by four
fighter jets.
The ceremony concluded with
the singing of the Malay-
language national anthem
Majulah Singapura (Onwards
Singapore).
Mr Lee's remains were then
driven to a private cremation
service.
An equaliser from
Kaka helped
Orlando City to a
come-from-
behind 2-2 draw
at Montreal Impact in MLS on
Saturday.
The Brazilian made it two goals
in four games, scoring in the
30th minute of an entertaining
first half to earn his team a draw.
Orlando sit fourth in the Eastern
Conference, while the Impact
remain winless.
Montreal had looked on track for
their first victory when they
struck twice in the opening 27
minutes, with Ignacio Piatti
making it 1-0 from the penalty
spot.
Jack McInerney doubled the lead
when a defensive mix-up
allowed him to loop a shot over a
stranded Donovan Ricketts.
Pedro Ribeiro dragged the
visitors back into the contest,
putting away a scrappy goal in
the 29th minute.
And Ribeiro helped set up the
equaliser just a minute later, his
pass collected by Kaka and
finished well from close range.
Meanwhile, there were
contrasting fortunes for the two
New York teams.
The Red Bulls went top of the
East after a 2-1 victory over the
Columbus Crew, with Bradley
Wright-Phillips making it two
goals in as many games.
Mike Grella's 67th-minute goal
proved to be the match-winner
for the visitors and the Crew
were reduced to 10 men late on
when Federico Higuain saw red.
Without the injured David Villa,
New York City suffered their first
ever loss, going down 1-0 at
home to Sporting Kansas City.
Robert Earnshaw netted a late
winner in the Vancouver
Whitecaps' 2-1 victory at home to
the Portland Timbers.
A double from Kelyn Rowe saw
the New England Revolution
edge the San Jose Earthquakes
2-1, while Chris Pontius struck
late to see DC United past Los
Angeles Galaxy 1-0.
The Houston Dynamo's clash at
home to the Colorado Rapids and
the Seattle Sounders' trip to
Dallas both finished 0-0.

First Lady of Lagos state, Dame

how she and her husband,
Governor Raji Fashola have been
able to manage their home
despite their religious
differences. She’s a christian
while he’s a Muslim. She revealed
this in a new interview with
Channels TV. She said;
“We got married in the
Church, the Catholic church,
that is who I am, that’s
where you will take me from
and that was done. But ever
since then my husband has
practiced his religion and I
have practiced mine. There is
no trouble whatsoever. My
husband has his own part of
the house where he prays, I
have my own altar there
with my crucifix and my
rosary and everything and
everyone is minding their
own business. When its time
for family prayer, we pray. I
pray mine to the name of
Jesus Christ while he prays in
Allah’s name & the children
understand all that. My
children are baptized and
they go to church. When he
wants them to go to mosque
with him they go to the

Speaking with BBC’s Peter

When asked who he had voted

Speaking about reported

Chelsea star Eden
Hazard has
admitted he
thinks Jose
Mourinho's
expectations of him scoring at
the rate of Lionel Messi and
Cristiano Ronaldo are beyond
him.
The serial Ballon d'Or winners
have already bagged 32 and 31
goals respectively in La Liga alone
this season, while Hazard has
netted just 11 times despite
playing in the Premier League's
second-most prolific forward
line.
The Belgium international
revealed last month that
Mourinho wants him to score
two or three times a game , but
he has now suggested that -
despite his fruitful season at
Chelsea - matching the exploits of
the Barcelona and Real Madrid
stars is almost impossible.
"I'm happy with my season at
Chelsea, just as I was last year,
and I am continuing to develop,"
the former Lille star told L’Equipe.
"People [like Mourinho] expect
me to score 30 to 40 goals per
season [like Messi and Ronaldo]
but I'm not like that.
"If there's one point I must
improve on it is to be more
efficient, to play more for me and
score more goals, but I had a
great season that can end up
with two trophies and that
would be great."
Chelsea are en route to securing
the Premier League title, though
Hazard says the gruelling nature
of English football makes it
almost impossible to compete
both domestically and in the
Champions League - even
claiming that losing to Paris
Saint-Germain was a blessing in
disguise.
"After the elimination against
Chelsea we were a little bit
disappointed," the Belgian
continued.
"But now we tell ourselves that, if
we went through, the schedule
would have been too hard to
carry on so maybe it was a
blessing in disguise. We could
have ended up losing everything.
"PSG deserved it. They played
better than we did. Now we only
have the league. We will try our
best to win the most games
possible in order to win another
trophy after the League Cup.
"The Premier League is very
demanding in terms of energy.
It's hard to play in Europe at the
same time. When you play tough
games at West Ham, Stoke, or Hull
and you have to play against top
European teams immediately
after...
"You could say it was a bad year,
too. We lacked luck. Arsenal did a
very good game at Monaco but
didn't go through."
Brymo and his girlfriend,
Esse Kakadaare have now
welcomed his first child
together.
Brymo announced the big
news on Twitter “I have
received the ultimate gift,
welcome WAJU, welcome
son!!!,”.
In a recent interview Brymo
said he won’t be getting
married soon, but when it is
time he will make us know;
he added that a child is a
product of love and not
marrriage.
One of the most controversial
artistes in Nigeria is certainly
Terry G. But then, the
controversies that have trailed
him have in no way affected his
career.
Perceived to indulge in hard
substance, Terry G admitted it
was actually an actress that
introduced him to the use of
hard drugs.
Though he didn’t mention the
name of the actress while having
a chat with Saturday Beats
recently, the singer said it was
never really his intention to get
into drugs.
“People actually see me as a very
bad guy, so it does not surprise
me when I go to certain places
and they offer me some things
because they think I already
indulge in them.
It was a gathering of celebrities
and they say when you are in
Rome act like a Roman. I was
offered and I did not want to be
seen as the odd one out, so I
indulged in it with them,” he
said.
Talking about the substance,
Terry G said it was cocaine but
he found out that it didn’t
“work” for him even after he
used it, so he decided to quit.
“I am the first born of my family
and I felt it would not be good to
continue with such.
Also, God has blessed me with
enough energy. My fans know
me to be very energetic and I
believe that anything that could
slow me down can kill me.
I spoke to myself because the
substance normally slowed me
down and I decided to stop it.
While I indulged in it, nobody
knew because I know how to
control myself,” he said.
Terry G could remember how he
quit as he said, “I cut off all
relationships that I had with that
set of people. We stopped
communicating.
I have never bought it before in
my life, so it was easy to stop
once I cut those people off.”
Apart from the drug issue, there
was a time Terry G decided to
add ‘Zuz’ to his name. A lot of
people frowned at it, saying it
was blasphemous.
Reacting to that, Terry G said,
“That is what they think. Jesus is
a name.
They should make their findings,
I am a child of God and I will
never blaspheme.
The name Jesus has been in
existence even before our Lord
was born. The only comma there
is Christ. I cannot call myself
Christ.
The spelling of my name is
different. It is Terry G Zuz, not
Terry Jesus.
But based on the fact that I love
controversy, I did not mind. It is
just the same way I said people
should be calling me Lucifer.
I knew it was going to create
controversy but what I meant
was ‘look see far.’
Our elders often say that what
they can see sitting down, a child
cannot see it even if he climbs a
tree and that is what informed
the name.
I like thinking out of the box.”
The Monaco left back has urged
his countrymen to not allow
themselves be divided by politics
as they vote in Saturday’s
presidential and parliamentary
elections

Monaco defender
Elderson Echiejile
has urged for
peaceful polls in
Nigeria as the
country votes in presidential and
parliamentary elections on
Saturday.
The elections come six weeks
late after they were postponed
due to security concerns in the
north eastern part of the country
where terrorist group Boko
Haram has held sway until
recently.
This year’s election has been the
closest in Africa's most populated
country since the return to
civilian rule in 1999, and has
been tipped to go to the wire,
leaving the country divided
between supporters of the ruling
Peoples Democratic Party and the
main opposition All Progressives
Congress.
Echiejile, who was part of the
Nigeria squad that won the 2013
Africa Cup of Nations title in
South Africa, tweeted on Friday
evening: “As we go to the polls
tomorrow, it is important for us
all to have the interest of the
nation at heart. Let's #

“Nigeria is ours, we can't afford
to let our cultural or religious
differences split us. #
