According to report, the duo were fighting over money given to their younger brothers to share and in the process Enwerem stabbed Ilaya with a knife on the left side of the neck, which subsequently led to his death.
The incident was said to have happened on Mulianu Street, Ajangbadi, Lagos State.
Enwerem, who is facing a one count charge of murder was arraigned before an Ebute Meta Magistrate’s Court.
Presiding over the case, the magistrate, Nurudeen Layeni ordered the defendant is to be remanded in custody for the first 30 days pending legal advice from Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the matter was adjourned till March 10, 2015 for legal advice.
