Severe Snow Storm Turns Slovenian Mountains To An Amazing Wonderland!

A popular skiing spot in Slovenia was subjected to nine days of strong winds, snow and ice starting on December 1. After the storm passed, photographer Marko Korošec went to the summit to photograph the otherworldly wonderland of ice-coated trees, vegetation and structures.
Korošec says the summit was covered in dense fog during the storm, which helped to create the formations. Rime ice forms when the water droplets in fog freeze to the surface of exposed objects.
