Johannesburg – A man clutching a bible jumped to his
death in the Johannesburg CDB after being “encouraged” by by-standers,
according to reports.
Eyewitness News reported that the incident happened late Thursday
on the corner of Bree and Simmonds streets in central Johannesburg.
According to witnesses the man climbed out of the fifth
floor window and started reciting bible verses.
Times Live reported that onlookers started chanting “jump,
jump, jump” just before the man jumped to his death. Allegedly a person in the
building had tried to grab the man, but failed.
