A metre-long flesh parasite has been found living in a man’s foot at least for four years, Melbourne, Australia.
The 38-year-old man, from Sudan, visited doctors as his swollen foot had been painful for nearly a year. The man’s foot was X-rayed and the ghastly “guinea worm” was revealed.
The worms live in the intestines and enter the body via larvae in infected drinking water
The remains of the lengthy parasite were found in the back of his ankle and the front of his sole. The creature had probably died and started to degenerate inside the man’s body.
Shocked doctors consider that their patient was infected four years ago in Australia. The man has made a full recovery after the worm was removed during surgery.

You might not have been eating insects consciously, but you have probably consumed pounds of them during your lifetime. But how could this happen?
Scientists found some insects in fruits, vegetables, bread, canned and processed food, even in the beverages we take.
You might never have deliberately eaten an insect, however you have probably inadvertently consumed over a pound of insects in your lifetime. The question, how is that so; then arises.
