Adunni Bankole, the step-mother of a former Speaker of
the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, died of heart-related
illness.
Adunni reportedly passed away on the wedding day of her second daughter, Mopelola. She was said to have witnessed only the introduction ceremony of the event.
Chief Alani Bankole, the husband of the deceased, said in a telephone interview:
